A: Sure. Only the city of Ann Arbor is fully functional right now, with many more cities to be added in September and October of 2006.

Q: What are the current plans for Blue Puddle?

A: The team is traveling to the summer, working in places like Seattle, San Fran and Bangalore. In August we will reconvene, and take the project to the next level. The idea is to create a fully functional image driven application, which emphasizes cities and urbanism as its organizing scale. We are also hoping that location-aware cameras become cheaper and more readily available, and that are our site becomes an interesting way to organize geotagged photographs.

Q: Where did the name Blue Puddle come from / what does it mean?

A: The idea for Blue Puddle was first born in this editorial by Zack Denfeld the day after the disastrous 2004 US presidential election.
